SHIELD is MDA's enterprise contract vehicle for rapidly acquiring innovative capabilities to support a layered defense of the homeland, including the Golden Dome for America initiative. It is designed to give MDA and its mission partners a streamlined, flexible path to a broad base of industry partners, from established defense companies to innovative small businesses.
